There are a large number of any kinds of tire which are thrown away to landfills. Tractor’s tire is one of those tires which can be made into useful product for using in your farm by tractor’s tire recycling. An old tractor tire can be made into a feeder for animals. It is kind of simply to make animal feeder. By cutting the tire in the long way, two feeders will be made. A Large feeder can be made by just one large tractor tire. As you can see, it is good for cattle for having such a large feeder. For small tire, feeder can be made for those small animals such as chicken. To do tractor’s tire recycling, you just have to make sure that the wheel and inner tube have already taken out of the tractor tire. Below are the instructions of tractor’s tire recycling.
1. Use a very sharp knife, hacksaw or tin snips to cut the tire in the long way around middle. Only top and bottom piece are wanted.
2. The top and the bottom must be separated before setting them so that the insides of the tires will be facing up. After that, the insides out need to be sprayed by a garden hose with water.
3. Use soap and sponge to scrub the tire so that powder residue from the inner tube will be removed. Then, clean up the tire and make it dry by towel.
4. Measure the rubber before cutting it by scissor in the long way down the center. Then, cleaning the tube both inside and out with water and soap.
5. Use a very sharp knife, hacksaw or tin snips to cut hard edges of the tire. Then, create a smooth edge by using rubber or plastic around the cut edge so that it will be the protection for animal to not be touched it directly.
6. Lastly, use a tape which is waterproof and has no toxic on the tube to the ends meet and every foot of the tires. After completed this step, the feeder is ready for putting the feed for animals in.
